1. Plan Your Niche... First off, think about the things you really enjoy. You of all people should know your niche. It doesn't matter what it is, stamp collecting, model building, gardening, cooking, etc etc just so it's something YOU really like. Then narrow it down to the one niche you feel you enjoy the most. Now that wasn't so hard and you already have step one done. Way to go.

2. Research Your Niche...Gather information from any books you might already have or simply search the Net to get some good facts on the niche/subject you selected. Take notes and write down some of the highlites for future reference. This way you will be able to create an interesting page that's SURE to catch other peoples attention who share this same common interest/niche.

3. Creating Your Niche... So you have choosen your interest, did some research and now you're ready to create a page/pages for your niche market. It doesn't matter if you're new to the the Internet or not, ANYONE can learn pretty fast and easily how to create web pages. There are free HTML editors available that are so simple to use a child can do it. You can do a search for free editors and look for a WYSIWYG editor, which stands for, (what you see is what you get). With these it only takes a few clicks of your mouse and you can make a pretty decent page. There is also a wide variety of pre-made templates that give you a good basis to start with. I will also point out what I use a little later on.

4. Income from Your Niche...Ok, you're putting together a page for the Internet so...HOW do you make money from this favorite niche? Good question and here's the answers.
   

   • First off, you can use your page to sell affiliate products. Clickbank offers a wide variety of products that match your niche and so of course, people will be interested in these products.    • Then of course, you can always sell advertising on your site as people are always looking for a good place to sell their products/programs. You can have a banner spot, recommended text links etc. A very simple way to get a little extra out of your site.
   • Google adsense is another way to generate some extra income but I don't recommend it as it doesn't really pay that well and I believe and it's quite obvious that Google is the one coming out ahead on the deal. I have found a couple of other ways that are simple to use plus they tell you up front what they pay for your effort. Both of these that I recommend have various ad sizes that will fit in where you want on your site.      The next one that I found that is really nice is called Niche Widget. Once again you can set up some real nice looking offers and products on your site about your niche and get paid when someone likes what they see. 5. Showing Your Niche... So, once you put togther a page and have it set up with your income builders, now what do you do with it. Well, you have to get it up on the Internet. You can do this a number of ways. If you're already online, you probably have some home page space with your ISP which you can use. There's also free web hosting available and you can simply do a search for "free web hosts" to find them. A paid service is much better though as you get a lot more to work with and it's definitely worth the little bit it costs to get quality hosting. (More on this later too)

6. Basic Principals... I know it all sounds simple enough and it actually is for the most part but, once you start attempting to do some of this you run into problems and don't know how to solve them especially if you are newer to the Internet. Well good news! There are ways to make it all much easier on yourself. Now you can take a deep breath and relax. You're probably saying, I took a deep breath, I'm relaxed, now let me in on the SECRET. There's really no secret, it's simply a proccess of learning what you need to know to accomplish your goals. The main secret is getting the help you need, for what you need and when you need it. There's lot of information out there and some of it is good and some of it is absolutely useless. There are all kinds of offers for programs, software, audios and videos claimimg to be the best and just what you need to succeed. Just remember, before you sign up or buy anything, make sure you research first to find out how reliable the source and product is so you're not just throwing your money out the window.

7. What One Truely Needs... Ok, listen up. Here's the deal. I don't proclaim to be an Internet marketing guru or some computer geek that knows it all. As a matter of fact, I worked in a local factory in the maintainance dept for 27 years. I first got connected to the Internet in 1995. At that time I was basically just enjoying the surfing experience and I wasn't even thinking about creating an income. As time when on though, the idea atarted popping up in my head as I saw what others were doing. I saw many programs come and go along with the scams that took many individuals hard earned money for which they got nothing in return. It's really quite simple as to what one needs in order to be successful on the Internet. The first and probably the most important ingredient is quality education and training on the different aspects of marketing. The second ingredient would naturally be the availability of all the tools needed to use in conjunction with the education and training.

8. The Components....There are a few main components that will be needed and used for getting your niche website seen by people who are actually interested in what you have to offer. For instance, you wouldn't want someone interested in vitimins and health products coming to your niche site on muscle cars. Most of the components are now reffered to as web 2.0 techniques. Some of these include blogging, using network sites like Squidoo, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, digg, links & backlinks, videos sites like YouTube, Google and Yahoo videos, email marketing, banner advertising, PPP (Pay Per Click) search engine listings and ranking, traffic exchanges and one of the best and most overlooked marketing methods of the all, Article Marketing. These are the types of things that will have to be learned through training and education.

9. Where Do I Get This Information?... I personally don't try to push anything on anyone. I can only tell you what I am using and believe in and then it's your choice. There are a few good resources that I personally use and for some very good reasons. There is one in paticular that I highly recommend for newbies as well as seasoned marketers. Why?
